This course will teach you step by step how to perform luxury facial treatments with customizable elements that can also be combined with different modalities to create your own signature facials ranging from express to 2-hour treatments that your clients will look forward to receiving again and again. You will learn valuable techniques that will allow you to elevate your regular facials to luxury experiences without having to invest in expensive equipment. Our educational materials are brand independent and can be utilized regardless of what skincare product lines and machines you use.
Our custom protocols incorporate massage sequences during the different stages of the facial that serve a specific purpose such as cleansing, draining, stimulating, lifting and soothing. We also love to incorporate mindful practices to enhance the client experience. Our goal is to make facials more effective, efficient and seamless, with a beautiful flow that will provide blissful relaxation to your clients while keeping their skin concerns in mind. Our time-tested massage moves are also meant to preserve your own strength so you can perform several facials back-to-back without exhausting or hurting yourself. We avoid using tiring arm and hand movements and unhealthy back postures that may look great on social media but can be harmful for you long term. After all, we need to stay healthy so we can keep doing what we love!
You will learn which type of massage is appropriate at which stage of the treatment, and you will also learn variations based on the client's skin type and condition. It is important to learn the correct techniques and pressure so you do not overstimulate the skin or manipulate it the wrong way, which can lead to breakouts, irritation, and even premature aging or sagging. You will also get useful tips that cover frequently asked questions by estheticians. We will also list what not to do during facials so you do not make the same mistakes we saw during training classes or experienced while receiving facials.
